Have no issues extending him. Hope it's a bit cheaper AAV, but that is probably being optimistic on my part. |

I have always like Larsson. I would really like him if he took a haircut and was extended at about 3.5-3.75 per. |

Fair number for sure.
Hopefully Klefbom can get healthy. I'd much rather him and Larsson than Barrie. Partially because Barrie is not great defensively, but also because Bouchard has shown in the limited games he's played in, that he is good enough to play in the NHL. |

I cannot recall ever seeing a worse NHL goalie than Mikko Koskinen. Wow he is bad! |

Was there not a poster or 2 on this thread that thought he would win the Vezina? Same as Feaster saying janko would be the best pick in his draft class.

I don’t think anyone thought that haha. The oil needs beast mode smith, or they’re done. |

Any team that gets through the North will be in tough. In not cutting down the North teams, but they are going to run into some real good teams. Edmonton does have a Mcdavid though. And Toronto has a Matthews. You never know, but there are some crazy good teams to go through. |

Only JB said anything about Koskinen winning vezina. And we all know how dumb he is. |

Why bother with Flames fans? They still think they have a better immediate team and close future than majority of the league although they have a bottom 10 team statistically now, and a bottom 10 prospect pool according to majority of the sites that do those rankings. But hey, they can trade under performing, past prime players for elite prospects and upper picks. Everyone wants to offer a 1st plus for Gio or Monahan and more than that for Johnny or under performing youth. |

When I said it he had Vezina numbers lmao. Tapered off right quick though.
That was my hot take phase. Another flaming take that I had is Chiasson is a top 6 forward. |

In Frenchie we should always trust. In Larsson I always trusted. Unlike most Oilers fans. |

So, looking back, in hindsight, do you guys think our decade of Darkness was as bad as what the Sabres are going through? I mean, I basically lost total interest in Hockey going from watching 40-50 games a year to maybe 10 games in the last 3 years ( not one game for me this year- might catch some playoffs. Might.)
Seriously, who had it worse, us or them? |

If somehow Chia was still at the helm it would be an interesting comparison.
Otherwise, it’s Buffalo and I don’t think it’s even close.

Yeah I sorta feel that way too. I mean, obviously McDavid shifted the tide for us and that was a stroke of luck. |
